As a child, I liked to listen to the stories, opinions and world explanations of our neighbor, who was often a bit shrill and had a big heart for animals. The interest in the small observations and conflicting feelings of my fellow human beings never left me, perhaps precisely because I could not always rhyme with them.

As a nurse, I was allowed to be interested in people from work, as a mother of four daughters, the stories come flattered free house. For several years I have been working at a university and try to bring the view of families whose lives change due to illness into the research projects.

As an audio biographer, I am allowed to turn to a single person and support them in retrieving life stories. What could be better?! And if death stands in the way as a mighty wall or wrought-iron gate with sharp, insurmountable prongs, then I hope that audiobooks will blow over as a warm wind.
