On June 21, the Town & Country Foundation's award ceremony took place in Erfurt. Ready for the eleventh time, this award supported charitable institutions and initiatives from all over Germany. The family audiobook was on site as Landepreiswinner for North Rhine-Westphalia and received a trophy, 5,000 euros and a box with memory books.

Carmen Dreyer, Head of Public Relations, who accepted the award together with her colleague Elisabeth Szwarc, was pleased about the recognition: “Our greatest concern, namely to have to tell seriously ill mothers and fathers that there is currently no money for further audiobooks, is thus taken a step further. They do not believe how much light it brings to the dark when palliatively ill parents are given the chance to claim a discount for their children!”
