With the family audiobook, not only the team is active in public relations. Friends, relatives and partners of our project participants are also fully behind the project and carry it out into the world. On April 26, Dr. Ulrich Strauch visited the breakfast television team at Sat.1 and told about his wife, who lives with a palliative diagnosis, and about the importance of the family audiobook recordings for the whole family. In addition, he brought with him impressive pictures regarding his self-initiated fundraising campaign from 2025 (more than 3,000 kilometers by bike), which also ensured visibility and also monetary support for follow-up family audiobooks.

Strauch's teammate, Johannes Thoß from Leipzig, accompanied him at the Transcontinental Race and collected for the German Duchenne Foundation.
