The uniqueness of man has always fascinated me: How individual imprints, character traits, experiences and contemporary history flow together in each of us – and how this individuality is expressed in the voice and narrative. That's why I became a radio journalist and worked biographically in different formats. When I read the ‘family audiobooks’, I immediately realised: I want to be part of this project – because there is an opportunity to meet intensively and listen much more closely than in everyday journalistic business. It is the opportunity to preserve the individual wealth of experience and stories that each and every one of us carries within us.
