Since 1988, Radio Hamburg has been actively providing for children in the broadcasting region. To date, the association ‘Radio Hamburg Hörer helfen Kinder e.V.’, which was founded for this purpose, has been able to collect around 12 million euros in donations and pass them on to those in need.

Hamburg family audiobooks have already been funded twice as part of the annual Radio Hamburg donation marathon (each in the Christmas season). Currently, we are also pleased about 18,000 euros, which were handed over to us in March. This amount goes directly into three audio biographies that benefit children from the broadcast area. A great pleasure for all those involved, who were able to receive a commitment for inclusion in the project in a timely manner. Time is a particularly valuable asset for those affected and it is a great relief that the family audiobook can act promptly thanks to such supporters.
