In my work as a radio journalist, I always have two sides in mind at the same time: My interlocutors and my listeners. Over the past almost 25 years, children have often listened to me on the radio (Lilipuz/Kiraka and programme with the mouse to listen to). For me, it was always important to receive the many stories appreciatively and carefully, as well as to prepare them carefully for my young listeners. For a family audiobook, the need for balance emerges even more clearly, the balance between autobiographical coping work and transporting the life story to the children. I studied journalism at TU Dortmund University, volunteered at Westdeutscher Rundfunk and then received my doctorate. On the radio I can also be heard in the time sign, in the science program Quarks and in the culture program WDR 5 Scala.
