The charity initiative ‘Wir für morgen’ (Union Investment) has been awarding prizes to non-profit organisations from all over Germany since 2022. Out of 240 applications, 19 organizations had made it to the longlist this year. The Familienhörbuch gGmbH was pleased to receive a grant of 20,000 euros.

The award ceremony took place on 28 October at the Städel Museum in Frankfurt, moderated by Sabrina Marggraf.‘In a world of upheaval, social engagement is more important than ever. Their contribution to creating a better tomorrow cannot be overestimated," said Hans Joachim Reinke, CEO of Union Investment and patron of the initiative, in his opening speech. Under his chairmanship, the jury team consisting of actor and documentary filmmaker Hannes Jaenicke (Environment category), ex-football professional and foundation founder Neven Subotic (Social category), ‘Network Opportunities’ founder Natalya Nepomnyashcha (Education category) and a youth jury (Nike Alina Varnhorn, Louisa Horras, Lea Schaba, Joshua Treppesch) had selected the winning projects.
