Since 2021, the German Palliative Foundation has been awarding an edition of ‘Knietzsche und der Tod’ to project participants in the family audiobook. The book by Anja von Kampen is intended to show that death is the most normal thing in the world. It can be lurking at any corner and should not be a taboo topic.
Knietzsche invites children and adults alike to look death in the eye together. What exactly happens when someone dies? What do maggots have to do with this and why does mathematics prove that dying is a smart thing? How is one buried in different religions and what customs are there in us and in other countries?
We are particularly pleased to receive the latest news from the German Palliative Foundation that this special gift will continue to be distributed free of charge to ‘our’ project families.
