Summer Festival 2024 Ammerland Hospice

On August 18, 400 people attended the summer festival in the garden and the premises of the Ammerland Hospice. The family audiobook was on site. Audio biographer Carola Schede spoke on "Everything that has a voice survives" and provided insights into the audiobiography work. The event proves that taboo topics such as dying and death, but also laughter and love are never mutually exclusive.

The facility in Westerstede, which has existed since 2010, gives dying people, taking into account personal, nursing, psychosocial and spiritual needs, space for a dignified life until the end.
