After many years in the software industry, especially in the area of product and project management for music technology and digital applications, I was looking for a task that has more depth. This is exactly what I found in the family audiobook: a project that makes sense and accompanies people in special life situations.
As a married father of two, I know how important shared memories are – and how much it means to preserve voices and personal stories. This makes my work in the family audiobook particularly valuable to me.
For me, there is also a circle: After studying musicology and cultural studies (M.A.), my first job was in an audiobook publisher, where I experienced for the first time how stories can be made audible. Today, I bring my organizational experience to the production team and support the team in ensuring that the audio biographies are in the right place at the right time.
