Midwives accompany new life and are not only connected with birth through their work, but also with topics such as dying and death. They know about the intense moments of human life in all its facets. From the beginning, we have always been supported by people from this professional group. This strengthens us a lot. Recently we received a donation of 250 euros from the Saxon Midwives Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How did this support come about?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The association meets twice a year for the state delegates' meeting to address professional policy issues. As early as spring, delegates can submit proposals to whom a donation amount could go at the end of the year. Midwife Christiane Mildner had drawn attention to the family audiobook project. She became aware of a colleague who herself is seriously ill and has written a family audiobook. Initially, she had therefore donated privately, but desperately wanted to continue the offer and also used the midwives' conference, so that many more people learn about this form of farewell and mourning help. A wonderful way to support the Familienh\u00f6rbuch gGmbH in its activities.
